Stage design method (background

In this lesson, we will explain the easiest way to design a background using the 2d files available to us. To do that, we must first go to the background folder.

Here we will find three different backgrounds and what we have to do is to make these backgrounds overlap with each other to become a single background

We now need to convert all of these images into a tileset

Then we convert them to tilemap

1- Draw backgrounds

We name them after their layers.
background1: layer1
background2: layer2
backgound3:layer3

Now let's head over to the tile drawing pages for the first background (tileset: background1)

We will find that when we select the background and place it on the drawing page, that the size is not appropriate, so we have to make some adjustments in the width and length of the page to become: Width 10  length 5

At the top right of the screen we will find the layers list.
The layers act like transparent sheets on top of each other

Now that we have finished placing the first layer, rename the first layer to background1

2- Arranging the layers

After we are done with the first layer, we have to add two layers, and we can do that by clicking on the (+) sign below the layers, and then naming them background2, background3

image.png

We now have to change the background that appears to us, and we can do this by simply clicking on the options box

image.png

Then we choose background layer2

image.png

From the Layers menu, click on background2, then select the entire background and place it on the drawing page

image.png

To become like this, and we repeat the same steps for the third background

image.png

After completion, click Save

image.png

We will find that the background is very small compared to the tiles, so what we have to do is enlarge the background by pressing R

image.png

But when you start playing, you will notice that there is a white background in the world

3- Modification of the tile drawing page

We can solve it by going to the oakwoods tileset page and making some adjustments in the length and width of the drawing page to make it 55 in length and width, and we clear all the current tiles by pressing the X below the layers

We place the tiles that have the property of colliding in the middle of the page

We return to the Tileset oakwoods page and set the collision property for the tiles surrounded by the red circle, then click refresh maps

We put the red tiles to cover the entire page except for the middle of the page
