There are four tips for online marketing. If follow these tips you can make a lot of money through Online marketing.

1. Provide free eBook or newsletter

Write an eBook in direct relation to your online business and give it to the subscribers for free. For sure, you have to place the link to your online business in the eBook or newsletter. Do not copyright the eBook but allow the subscriber to give away to others for free, this would expand the network through word of mouth if the content of the eBook is good enough.

2. Writing and distributing articles

Write some quality articles and distribute it to the major article directories, blogs or forums. Again, you should write something that is related to your online business, the content should also highlight what you can provide, the benefit of having your product, why they should purchase your product and etc. Your article will be blasted all around the web if the content is tremendous. Every reader love to read quality and useful contents, if they are happy about it, they will share with others and this is how you get your network expanded again.

3. Join forums and bulletin boards

Participate into forums that are related to your niche. Provide solution or help to the questions raised in the forum, from time to time, this will build trust between you and other forumers. Once you are able to break the trust divider, you stand higher chance in promoting something to them in the future.

Include the URL of the website in the signature section and this allow you to gain some link popularity. With that said, you are indirectly asking the forum readers to visit your website. Be sure to read the forum’s term of use, because some of the forums do not allow outgoing link, but most of them do allow.

4. Link exchange with other websites

Exchange link with other website could help you in rising your search engine ranking. Try to look for the site that is within the same or similar topic as yours, but avoid exchanging links with direct competitors.

You can find lots of information about SEO on the Internet. A lot of it is theory based. That means the information has not been tested in a real world situation. Here are some SEO techniques that have been proven to work.

1) Primary keywords in page title.

This is an easy technique that everyone can implement. Always include your target keyword phrases in your article title. That will help boost your search rankings. Don’t just use your company name or domain as the page title. If you really wish to include your company name, place it after the primary keyword phrase.

2) Use of unique Meta tags.

Although Meta tags are invisible to the visitor, search engines still rely on the information to rank web pages. Try not to use the same Meta tags for all the pages. The two most important Meta tags are the “keywords” and “description” tags. Use unique tags for each web page.

3) No duplicate content within the same website.

The search engines are coming down hard on websites with duplicate content within the same domain. Websites may be banned or penalized. If you have websites that require duplicate content (e.g. print friendly pages), always use canonical urls to specify the primary web page.
